The initiative, led by Senior Managing Director Rajeev Thakur (also the head of Newmark's newly developed Global Knowledge and Innovation Center), focuses on aggregating and synthesizing information to provide insights into how to drive top tech talent to other parts of the country. In keeping with the same methodology, the establishment of the Center reflects a proactive approach by Newmark to maintain its position as a premium provider of strategic advisory services, considering the continued evolution of the brokerage business.

Each year, CoreNet Global presents the awards to leading organizations that demonstrate best-in-class practices in advancing thought leadership in corporate real estate. Judges drawn from senior leaders in the CoreNet Global Association selected winners in the Professional Excellence and Sustainable Leadership categories. The GIA competition will take place at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in July 2018.
