Economic Growth and Enhanced Visibility Make Canada Example to the World
Canada was recently declared “example to the world” by The Economist magazine and Newmark Senior Managing Director,
Gregg Wassmansdorf, contributes an article unpacking the country’s growing global visibility and recent economic successes in the latest issue of Expansion Solutions magazine.
The article highlights different business tactics helping to make the Great White North “white hot” including a “slow-but-steady” investment strategy, increased support for industry diversification and varied geographies, and ambitious, under-the-radar economic incentives packages promoting foreign direct investment (FDI) and business expansion.
These tactics seem to be paying off. “… Though not without its challenges, Canada is working diligently at supporting, promoting, and attracting high-value, innovation-oriented economic sectors and achieving some remarkable success.” Subsequently, as Canadian cities continue to promote these “open for business” policies; “federal investment restrictions are being eased; investor protections are being enhanced; and immigration is being promoted as one spark in the economic engine”.
