Biz Journal Article Highlights NKF’s Role in AllianceBernstein Nashville HQ Lease Negotiations

A Nashville Business Journal news article recently announced that AllianceBernstein has officially signed a lease for their new downtown Nashville, TN headquarters. The company’s new HQ is in the office tower at downtown’s $450 million Fifth + Broadway mixed-use development.

The article explains that AllianceBernstein’s strategic HQ relocation decision positions them as one of the biggest employers in Nashville. “The company says its average salary will range from $150,000 to $200,000 annually; to be sure, that figure includes the company's highest-paying jobs, which skew the average upward. The majority of the jobs coming to Nashville are behind-the-scenes, such as finance, IT, operations, compliance and auditing.”

Newmark Knight Frank has been lockstep with AllianceBernstein throughout the process; narrowing an original list of 24 cities to seven and ultimately selecting Nashville. “Neil Goldmacher, Brian Goldman, and Jared Horowitz of Newmark Knight Frank and Kim Moore with Newmark Knight Frank’s Incentive Group represented AllianceBernstein in lease negotiations.”

Last May, in a previous GCS blog titled AllianceBernstein Partners with NKF EIA and Selects Nashville for HQ Relocation, it was explained that NKF Managing Director Kim Moore, part of the NKF Economic Incentives Advisory team, spent a year working side-by-side with AllianceBernstein to negotiate the incentives and tax savings that ultimately lead to the lease signing.
